​​Evie uses her artistic practice to distill and explore memory. In her larger works, she assembles various materials and objects from her daily life to explore relevant themes and emotions. In her paintings, almost exclusively en plein air, the world quiets and she's able to capture the moment. The process of mixing colors and laying down the paint is often easier to recall than the views themselves.

Evie holds a BFA in Lighting Design and Technology from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and is based in New Haven, CT. She currently holds a position working as an automation technician and scenic electrician and looks forward to continuing to explore the intersection between her art and her craft.​​
